The board has prayerfully set the Tuition and Fees Schedule for the 2010-2011 school year.  To view the new schedule, please click here.  Reenrollment packets will be sent home next Monday, March 8.  The March tuition payment, due Monday, March 22, will be the first payment for the 2010-2011 school year.  Those not reenrolling  are asked to complete a withdrawal form.  Applications for siblings and new students are now being accepted.  Applications are available in the school office and online.

During this time of re-enrollment at ICS, many people re-consider whether the sacrifices that they are making are worth it.  Obviously, we believe that they are!  But we don't want you to take our word for it.  So, we encourage YOU to have all the information that you need to accurately weight the true cost of an Immanuel education by attending an upcoming Beyond the Books.  Consider this your opportunity to "look under the hood" and "kick the tires."

At a Beyond the Books, you'll get a hot cup of coffee and an inspirational one-hour behind-the-scenes look at what makes ICS distinctive from other schools.  Our Administrator, Steve Danish, speaks powerfully to the beginning and future of ICS followed by a short tour with stories from students and teachers.  You'll leave more passionate about ICS and with a deeper understanding of how we are dedicated to investing in the next generation by educating students in a Christ-centered world view.  An Immanuel education is truly an investment in your family, your community and the Eternal Kingdom.  Tours are held on Wednesday mornings from 8:30 - 9:30 a.m. and begin in the library on March 10, March 24 and April 14.  If you are interested in atteding a Beyond the Books, please  RSVP to Laura Tweed, Development Director.

AT HOME SERVICE OPPORTUNITY
Mrs. Pence, Art Teacher, has several projects that need some preparations before the students begin.  These projects involve wire and yarn and work can be done at home.  Please email Mrs. Pence if you are interested in earning some parent service hours.

GUITAR LESSONS
Mr. Matt Butterfield is offering to teach group guitar lessons on Mondays from 4:00-5:00 p.m. or Wednesdays from 3:30-4:30 p.m.  Individual lessons are also available.  Click here to learn more.

3rd Quarter:  Thursday, March 18 & Friday, March 19 (retry)

1st & 2nd Quarter:  Thursday, March 25 & Friday, March 26 (retry)

1st-3rd Quarters:  Thursday, March 18 & Friday, March 19 (retry)

There is an opportunity at the end of the 4th quarter for students who wish to quote additional verses to total 100 verses for the year.  A special Bible, which the student selects, is awarded for this achievement.  Your student's Bible Teacher will provide information to the student about the 100 verse recitation this week.  Please note that all additional verses must be printed and submitted to the Bible teacher by May 7.  All students who want to recite 100 verses must complete them by May 26 for Middle School and June 2 for Elementary.  Additional information about the 100 verses can be found in the Parent Student Handbook or by contacting your child's Bible teacher.
